Day 62-63: Last Duties

Day 62-63: Last Duties in the Network and Server Room

May 13 & 15, 2024

On day 62 & 63, same with the assigned task in day 56-57, our team was assigned again into random task inside the Network and Server Room. We work as the Network and Server Room support, this task includes assisting students that uses PCs in the Library Network Area. Aside from that, we also assist in cabling and technical support where in this task has provide with technical skills, and support. All of those task provide us with experiences and knowledge relevant to it. Those task wasn't documented that is why I cant provide photos regarding this.

Day 63 supposedly our last day in this office as we already completed the 486 hours required in our OJT. This will be my last blog and I am very happy to share with you my 486 hours journey here. Overall, my stay as being an intern in this office gives me a lot of knowledge especially in understanding every responsibility and it provides me with a transformative experience that helps me to effectively and efficiently perform my task. Technically, it does not only enhance my skills in IT related matters but also it brought me to have a deeper appreciation in various roles inside the library. I am very grateful for the opportunity that contributes on my well-being throughout my internship and to all the mentors and staff that treats us not just an intern but also as a part of the entire library team, I am now ready to face new challenges and apply my skills in the real-world scenario as this office helps me to build me as where I am now. I am confident that my knowledge and skills gained here will be a solid foundation for my future and career.

DAY 27: DATA ENCODING

Day 27: Data Encoding + Realization Friday My task on this day is to encode data in excel. Encoding is fun and it helps me to enhance my understanding and practical application of managing information efficiently. On this task, I am not only enhancing my skills in excel, but also gaining a invaluable insights in data manipulation. This experience not only enriches my technical skills but it also strengthens me to solve problems and give importance on my abilities that I can use in the real-world scenarios. Day 3 - Monday Motivations

Monday motivations beginning: My 3rd day at BUL — encoding 👩‍💻 Starting a day productively is a great start for a new week, it helps me to stay focus and motivated. #motivatedmonDAY On this day , I was assigned in encoding and computing the Library's Temporary receipt for external researchers of January 2024. It was assigned to me by our mentor Ma'am Laila. Encoding and computing is also a great job to do based on my experience, it helps me to manage and process data and test my problem solving skills. No more task after this, we use our free time to have a great bond with our OJT Buddies. Our time is well spend by sharing of ideas for the next task and chitchats. That's all for today. Day 10: Scanning and Editing Day

Day 10: Scanning and Editing Wednesday In the morning, our task is to create new template for the Book Awardee in the library. We are assigned again in the network server room to help the Digitization Group to digitized thesis after our task in the content group. Here's some of the templates we created on this day: After the template editing, we are assigned already in the scanning section where in we digitized hardbound Graduate School thesis by scanning and editing to provide a digital copies. My realization on this day is that being patient will brings improvement on our daily tasks. That's all for today! #wednesdaytask&realization
