Day 4: Presentation and Filming Tuesday

 

Presentation and Filming chooseDAY – my Day 4 realizations

   

        Our Day 4 started with a meeting with our mentor Ma'am Laila, we presented the Library Virtual tour outline that we made Last February 8 (Day 2 OJT)  to have a final plan before going on the next step which is the Final Filming. This Virtual Tour Project assigned to us will be used and will be presented on the BU Library 2024 Accreditation.

Another task on this day is to practice filming the important areas to be included in the Virtual Tour. After doing this task , I realized that we can adjust in the environment we have right now by embracing and accepting every challenges assigned. Every challenges can also unlock new skills and bringing back old hobbies. A quick story on this day, when I was in SHS, aside from wanting to be an IT in the future, I also enjoyed filming and getting photograph as I am part of the Production Team in my alma mater. In connection to that, my hobbies and skills in Photography and Film Making  brings back again because of this task, I see myself now enjoying and loving all the challenges and task in this OJT Journey. 



After practicing filming and some realizations, our next task is to edit and clean the outline and plans. This is to ready for the final takes. After this, I went to heck some task and areas to use my other time and to share ideas with my co-OJT Buddies.

Day 5- WednesDATE Workloads

  Day 5: Productive WednesDATE — Editing, Shooting & Scanning Early in the morning of the 5th day of our OJT, we are assigned in editing some documents. We stayed in the Network & Server room to do some other task after this.  After the editing session, we are assigned into the digitization of Graduate school's thesis. In this task, we converted hard copies into digital copies. What is best in this office is that we are not just doing one task, we also explore other task that is a good thing for us to be ready on our next real life work experiences.  After the task inside, we use our remaining time to start shooting the trailer of the BUL Virtual Tour. Another task and good experience on this day.  After a long tiring yet enjoyable day, here's a simple present/ valentine treat from our mentor Sir Rollie. Day 3 - Monday Motivations

  Monday motivations beginning:  My 3rd day at BUL — encoding 👩‍💻 Starting a day productively is a great start for a new week, it helps me to stay focus and motivated. #motivatedmonDAY     On this day , I was assigned in encoding and computing the Library's Temporary receipt for external researchers of January 2024. It was assigned to me by our mentor Ma'am Laila. Encoding and computing is also a great job to do based on my experience, it helps me to manage and process data and test my problem solving skills.  No more task after this, we use   our free time  to have a great bond with our OJT Buddies.
