  DAY 11: A busy day in the Library After grabbing a cup of coffee in the Network and Server room, we volunteered in the Guard Desk to welcome visitors and researchers in the Library. This day is not a usual day in the library, it is a busy day as it welcomes outside visitors for the Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Launching of Peace Education Resource Nook at the University Library Third Floor. This is such a great opportunity as we meet more people and different personalities. As part of the Content/Production Team, I was also assigned in taking photos of the visitors at the event. Together with my Teammates Naz and Majadas, they are also the videographer and photographer that time.  After the event, we go back in the Network and Server Room. At this hour, I was editing the photos and videos taken during the event. I also send some of the photos to the visitors who asked for it.  What I can say on this day is, "today is such a productive day".  A cup...

   Day 10: Scanning and Editing Wednesday In the morning, our task is to create new template for the Book Awardee in the library. We are assigned again in the network server room to help the Digitization Group to digitized thesis after our task in the content group.  Here's some of the templates we created on this day:  After the template editing, we are assigned already in the scanning section where in we digitized hardbound Graduate School thesis by scanning and editing to provide a digital copies. My realization on this day is that being patient will brings improvement on our daily tasks. That's all for today! #wednesdaytask&realization

  DAY 9: Busy Tuesday at Discussion Room — Template Day On this day, we gathered in the discussion room to discuss the template that we are going to create for every occasion/gatherings and events in the University Library.  Each of us (Content Team) shares our own perspective and ideas. The discussion also went into sharing insights that can be incorporated in creating the template. At the end of the day, we did not just create a template but we also create a great bond and shared our own purpose on the team. Tuesday is again a job well done and a good experience to us. Today is not just a busy Tuesday but a day of collaboration and creativity.  #collabbusyDAY

  Day 8: Feels Productive — Re-wiring and Shooting Monday   Another week started as productive as always. Today, we are still assigned in shooting the continuation of the virtual tour video of the BU Library. We also presented the teaser we created on our first week to our Mentor Ma'am Laila, it is an amazing work as what she said. We just forgot to photograph the meeting, but it was a great meeting so far after days of working for it.   After the shooting, I was assigned again in re-wiring the digitization workplace in the Network and Server room. It is way an enjoyable task to start this week, may this week as productive as this.  This workplace is intended for new scanner inside the library for scanning/digitizing papers, soon we will be assigned here also in digitizing paper as for task rotation.  This is all for today, see you again tomorrow! 😊 #mondayFEELS

  DAY 7: Setting-up Workplace — wiring friday Day 7 is such a great experience also, this day's task to us is to set-up the workplace. We set-up cables and do wiring activities. This workplace will be for new PC Scanners to be used in digitizing papers. This is located in the Network and Server Room of the Bicol University Library. This task is a bit challenging as it require a lot of effort and patience, but it becomes easy by working together with the team. Thank you mentors for letting us to experience this and make use our skills in networking and setting up the workplace.  After setting-up cables and computers, we also designed the tables to have a nice and clean workplace. We believe that a clean workplace, is a safe place that will make us work in a healthier environment more productively.  This is all the task for today, on our Day 8, we will continue working on this to install other needed parts.  DAY 6: Shooting & Discussion Thursday This day is the continuation of our shooting for the Virtual Tour of the Library. We started in the first floor and get the chance to shoot with random students. This is such a great experienced so far. Here's my team as we enjoyed sharing our thoughts and ideas on how our shooting would go as planned.  What I have learned in this task is that whatever you're doing, if you enjoyed and love it, success will be next to it.  After our shooting we go back to the Network and Server room and had a quick discussion with the Developer Team, they gathered suggestions from us to continue the assigned task to them. This day is another productive day we enjoyed, see you again on the next day :)   #productionTHURSDAY #productivealways

  Day 5: Productive WednesDATE — Editing, Shooting & Scanning Early in the morning of the 5th day of our OJT, we are assigned in editing some documents. We stayed in the Network & Server room to do some other task after this.  After the editing session, we are assigned into the digitization of Graduate school's thesis. In this task, we converted hard copies into digital copies. What is best in this office is that we are not just doing one task, we also explore other task that is a good thing for us to be ready on our next real life work experiences.  After the task inside, we use our remaining time to start shooting the trailer of the BUL Virtual Tour. Another task and good experience on this day.  After a long tiring yet enjoyable day, here's a simple present/ valentine treat from our mentor Sir Rollie.
